Union home ministry on Tuesday asked the Gujarat government to provide adequate security to suspended IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt, his wife Shweta Bhatt and other family members on the basis of threat perception.
Shweta Bhatt wrote to home minister P Chidambaram, requesting for security amid apprehension of grave threat on her husband's and family members' lives.
