In this role you will:

Provide support to critical .NET web based applications
Manage and maintain network and server health and performance
Provide innovative technical solutions to reduce cost and support time
Provide responsive and engaging second and third line support to internal clients across multiple business sectors, both technical and non-technical
Manage multiple projects and releases through various environments using change control methodologies
Configure and sustain environment integrity in order to achieve consistent software release results
Proactively monitor systems, configuring thresholds and alerts across the platform for early notification and resolution of issues
Take responsibility for the overall health and efficiency of the operations environment and standard of support provided to all clients
Assist the project management team with project planning and rollouts involving operational responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will have:

Strong experience in a similar role
Relevant tertiary qualifications
Strong communication and prioritisation skills
Advanced systems administration skills - Windows, IIS & SQL
Advanced relational databases concepts and skills. High level of SQL Server language and knowledge
Intermediate to advanced programming concepts & skills - HTML, .NET and JavaScript
Intermediate knowledge of TCP/IP network concepts and skills and a good understanding of network devices such as load balancers, Firewalls, Switches and NAS devices.
Mentoring and supervisory skills
Good documentation skills - business requirements and technical specifications
Strong technical analysis and problem-solving skills
Advanced knowledge of how web-based applications are built and their network interactions and dependencies.
Understanding of SDLC process
